- If not specified, the same as the Preliminary Round and the final round requirements.
- Contestants who qualify to the Final Round can choose to use their Preliminary Round piece(s) and video recording(s) if they wish.
- Enrolment Fees for the Final Round will be different with the Preliminary Round, all contestants who are qualified for the Final Round will receive the notice via email from the competition committee.
The enrolment of the preliminary round closed on 17th November 2025 at 11.00pm.
The results of preliminary round and the invitations of Final round will be sent out before 1st December 2025 via Email.
The deadline of Final round enrolment is on 15th December 2025 at 11.00pm.
The deadline of receiving recordings of Final round is on 9th January 2026 at 11.00pm.

Chamber Music Classes
- I. 重奏形式,2-10人,多聲部組合,各個聲部必須獨立
II. 以弦樂或鋼琴為主,可任意加入其他樂器
III. 樂團形式,10人以上,多聲部組合或獨奏與協奏組合
IV. 中提琴和低音提琴獨奏(帶伴奏)可以在[弦樂獨奏組]報名參賽
V. 比賽曲目要求
*如無特別說明,則選拔賽與決賽曲目要求相同,所有獨奏組別的參賽曲必須背譜演奏。
I. Ensemble form, 2-10 players, multi-part combination, each part must be independent.

● Below 35 years old (one of the contestants may exceed this age in some cases)
(I)Genre Type
(II)Program requirements: Contestants choose one piece or one movement from the Defined style and the Optional style. The entries must include sections with high technical difficulty. The total duration of the entries is not more than 14 minutes.
●Defined style: Works by Baroque, Classical composers (Bach, Haydn, Mozart,Beethoven and other composers)
Time duration: within 7 minutes
●Optional style: Works of Romantic,Impressionist and Modernist composers.
Time duration: within 7 minutes
(Ⅲ)Competition rules: The competition takes a one-round system, the order of participation takes the way of drawing lots before the competition, and all the groups play according to the order of drawing.
Chamber Music-Juvenile Professional Class
● Below 18 years old (one of the contestants may exceed this age in some cases)
(I)Genre Type
(II)Program requirements: Program requirements: Contestants choose one piece or one movement from the Defined style and the Optional style. The total duration of the entries is not more than 10 minutes.
● Defined style: Works by Baroque, Classical composers (Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and other composers) ,Permitted adaptation version.
Time duration: within 5 minutes
● Optional style: Works of Romantic, Impressionist and Modernist composers. Permitted excerpts from the suite or short pieces.
Time duration: within 5 minutes
(Ⅲ)Competition rules: The competition takes a one-round system, the order of participation takes the way of drawing lots before the competition, and all the groups play according to the order of drawing.
Chamber Music-Children Professional Class
● Below 12 years old (one of the contestants may exceed this age in some cases)
(I)Genre Type
(II)Program requirements: Contestants are to select two pieces or two movements from Western classical works, or one piece or one movement from a Western classical work and one from a Chinese composition. The total duration of the selected pieces should not exceed 8 minutes. Adapted versions of both Western traditional works and Chinese music pieces are allowed, provided that the adapter is indicated.
(Ⅲ)Competition rules: The competition takes a one-round system, the order of participation takes the way of drawing lots before the competition, and all the groups play according to the order of drawing.
Chamber Music-Philharmonic Class
(I)Genre Type
Chamber Music-Philharmonic A Class
●The average age of its members is 12 years or under
● Two repertoires within 6 minutes
Chamber Music-Philharmonic B Class
● The average age of its members is 13 years or above
● Two repertoires within 8 minutes
Competition rules: Orchestra consists of 10 to 40 members, the instrument type is not limited, no limit to the style of the work, must be multi-part combination or solo and concerto combination.
Chamber Music-Orchestra A Class
● The average age of its members is 12 years or under
● Two repertoires within 8 minutes
Chamber Music-Orchestra B Class
● The average age of its members is 13 years or above
● Two repertoires within 10 minutes
Chamber Music-Top Cello Classes
● Aged 35 or under
● Contestants must perform all of the designated repertoires
■ Preliminary Round
I. Choose any one of Bach's six unaccompanied suites and perform two contrasting movements.
II. Choose any one of Piatti's 12 Rhapsodies.
III. Choose and perform a technical piece.
Total performance duration: No more than 12 minutes. The competition is conducted on a round-robin basis.
■ Final Round
I. One of the major concertos by the following composers (with two contrasting movements): Saint-Saëns, Haydn, Davydov, Laró, Shostakovich, Schumann, Goltman, Bernhard Romberg, Myaskovsky, Dvořák, Prokofiev, Elgar
II. One Chinese musical piece to be included in the competition: for cello and piano The First Cantonese Capriccio or The Second Cantonese Capriccio, by Damin Ren
Total performance duration: Less than 20 minutes. The competition is conducted on a round-robin basis.

I. One of the major concertos by the following composers (Choose the first movement or the second and third movements): Saint-Saëns, Haydn, Davydov, Laró, Shostakovich, Schumann, Goltman, Bernhard Romberg, Myaskovsky, Dvořák, Prokofiev, Elgar
II. One Chinese musical piece to be included in the competition: The First Cantonese Capriccio or The Second Cantonese Capriccio for cello and piano, by Damin Ren
